the Engineering Efficiency & Assurance Chapter as we influence Squads
(Scrum teams) towards greater empowerment, efficiency, and quality. You
will report to a Chapter Leader (your manager), whose primary focus is to help
you develop in your career and skills as we drive towards increased automation
and continuous delivery. Chapter Leaders drive the “how”: skills
& mastery; while your Squad drives the “what”. This is the next
evolution of Agile development!

looking for solution based engineers with a passion for developing easy-to-use,
customer focused APIs and capabilities which power client’s web and mobile
experience platforms.
Qualifications
- Bachelors or
Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- 8+ years of hands
on software development experience in Java RESTful Web services and API
solutions.
- Strong
understanding of spring and experience with spring boot.
- Experience with
integrating APIs with backend such as Oracle
- Experience with
DevOps, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery – Maven and Jenkins
- Experience in Agile
methodologies (Kanban and SCRUM) is a plus
- Any experience in
developing data applications in Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus
Must Haves
- Proficient in Java,
Angular, Node.js.
- Experience with
Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), building RESTful services, XML/JSON,
and JavaScript.
- High level design,
development, deployment, and integration of REST API’s
Special Instructions: Please read the necessary skills and work required. For
submittals, please detail if they have Angular 4 experience (this is preferred)
along with their API Development and highlight work with Java 8. See the
attached profile. They wanted to hire this person. They didn’t have Angular 4,
but had majority of other skills necessary and were local to NC..
Will be PS first - then either in person or video. (this team is primarily made up for team members that were local to NC market) Solid communication skills necessary
So first looks will be at people local to NC or bordering states.
Then if sending a non-local, stress why NC is a fit, family there, have places to stay, etc.. make it look attractive for a HM to see a person that has some roots in the area, versus a candidate being a submittal that has no ties to the area, never been there which probably means just a submittal to be a submittal = less chance to taking a role if offered and more flight risk

1. Angular 4 – Solid experience – Good hands on experience at the min last 1 year building angular apps using typescript, html, css with mobile first development approach. Unit testing using jasmine and E2E testing using protractor is required.
2. API Development – Java / NodeJS - Good hands on experience at the min last 1 year
3. Java 8 – Good exposure to using new features in Java 8.
4. CICD and engineering mindset – Best practices, automation etc.
Good to have
1. JSP / Backbone Experience is an added benefit
2. Building 12 Factor Cloud apps using AWS will be a good to have.
They work on Wealth Management application development where they modify and create application experience on how investments are handled, scenario Analysis, and Finical Modeling.
Experience:
• 6-9 years of experience in Software Development.
• Proficient in Java, and good experience in Angular, Node.JS
• Restful and API
• Agile Mythologies
