MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires strong knowledge and skills in the following
areas:

Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline such as
computer science or engineering, or equivalent work experience
·
Up to 5+ years IT experience
·
MM, PP, EH&S
·
Demonstrated experience with related business
activities within their functional expertise
·
Strong problem solving and teamwork skills
·
Ability to work with minimal supervision
·
Strong written and verbal communication skills
·
General understanding of Information Technology
Infrastructure Library (ITIL) service delivery methodology
·
Working knowledge of SAP and the integration points
with other SAP modules and non-SAP systems
·
Service Now and UC4 experience a plus
Position Description
The Materials Management Applications Analyst position is responsible
for performing operational system support which might include requirements
definition, application analysis and functional design associated with
break/fix items. A critical component of this role is to
effectively work with the Evonik business areas and Air Products IT counterpart
so that application fixes can be implemented effectively. The
individual will be responsible to drive sustainable, operational excellence in
the delivery of existing services. Applications in this area include SAP
MM Purchasing, Receiving, MRP, Material Master Configuration
and Vendor Master Configuration, Accounts Payable, Vendor Invoice
Management (VIM) and possibly Supplier Relationship Management which includes
EBP and SUS.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
This position is accountable for the following:

Ability to perform configuration analysis for SAP
and non-SAP modules
·
Consult as needed with other team members on
configuration design questions and analysis
·
Ability to resolve complex business requirements
·
Responsibility for ensuring all functionality is tested
prior to production deployment
·
Interface with Change and Release Management team
to ensure coordination of the changes throughout the change and release process
·
Providing the appropriate level of communication to
IT and business communities in support of the IT project or work
·
Responsible to deliver and maintain existing
services, resolve incidents and problem management and meet SLAs as well as
provide rotational on call coverage
·
implement effective and efficient support models
and processes
