Position Description:
Our client is a large
Healthcare Company in Downtown Boston. Our client is currently working on
a project to move from Oracle Data Factory to Hadoop as a Big Data
solution. Our client is looking to hire a DevOps Engineer to help with
the built, automation and deployment processes during this project.
Candidate must have
experience with Oracle databases and experience working with large data sets.
Strong scripting
skills and excellent communication/documentation skills are required.
Must haves:
Bachelor’s Degree or
related experience
10+ years’ of overall
industry experience and 2-3+ years’ experience most recently within a DevOps
role
Experience working
with large data sets
Experience working
with Oracle databases
Experience working on
a Linux platform
Scripting experience
with Python and/or Shell Scripting to help automate the deployment processes
Experience with a
deployment tool such as Bamboo, Hudson, Jenkins or similar
Experience working
with a Java code base
Nice to haves:
Experience working
within the Healthcare industry
Experience with
Hadoop Big Data technology
Experience with Maven
Additional

Must be able to pass
a background check and drug test
